Overview
Technology today seems to evolve almost faster than lawyers can keep up and yet we are ethically obligated to do so. This program is intended to guide lawyers as they grapple with technology issues that they are likely to encounter in their practices: cybersecurity, the cloud, and metadata.
The program, presented by Deepika Ravi and Lauren Snyder, will analyze a lawyer's ethical duties of confidentiality, communication, and safeguarding client property as they relate to cybersecurity. It will also discuss a lawyer's ethical duties-with a focus on confidentiality and supervision-as they pertain to cloud-based data storage. Finally, it will describe what metadata is and a lawyer's ethical obligations associated with document metadata.
Learning Objectives:
Analyze the ethical duties of confidentiality, communication, and safeguarding client property as they relate to cybersecurity
Discuss ethical duties of confidentiality and supervision as they relate to cloud-based data storage

VERY HELPFUL
Great overview of considerations with cybersecurity in the practice of law.
It was a helpful program
So I'd not thought about the phone always listening thereby opening the door to cyber attacks. Again great CLE.
Great job
