Biography

Puja Bhatia is the Senior National Attorney at For The People spearheads outreach and engagement with district attorneys’ offices nationwide to implement Prosecutor-Initiated Resentencing. Puja also builds stakeholder partnerships across the country and strategizes on communications targeted towards prosecutorial audiences. Puja was previously an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia for over five years, prosecuting homicide and January 6th Capitol Riot cases.
