Jo Ann Woodsum is an experienced commercial real estate leasing lawyer with more than 30 years of experience (licensed in California and Nevada).  She undertakes complex real estate lease transactions for landlords as well as retail, life science, and high-tech tenants.  Her clients include large institutional landlords, high-tech companies, and small retail tenants.  Ms. Woodsum routinely prepares and negotiates a wide range of lease documents including industrial, office, and retail leases, amendments, lease modifications, assignments, subleases, estoppel certificates, landlord lien waivers, and SNDAs.  She is a frequent speaker for CEB and the California Real Property Law Section on a variety of commercial leasing topics.  She also advocates for the advancement of women in the legal profession and has launched and successfully curated the Women In Leasing Law initiative to support, educate, and promote women in commercial real estate leasing which is now in its 10th year.  Ms. Woodsum offers commercial leasing e-courses.
