Biography

Anne Carrión Toale, Esq. is a named partner with mctlaw where she has exclusively represented people hurt by severe reactions to vaccinations for over fifteen years. She helps her clients get compensation from the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP) before the United States Court of Federal Claims. Ms. Toale is a past president of the Vaccine Injured Petitioners Bar Association, in which capacity she provided education and assistance to other attorneys throughout the United States practicing in the area of vaccine injury compensation.

Ms. Toale has extensive experience litigating vaccine injury cases including negotiating a payout of 61 million dollars over the expected lifetime of a child who experienced a severe and debilitating reaction to the DTaP vaccine. This vaccine case was extremely scientifically complicated and the child’s future needs are extensive. “Without legal representation, it could have turned out very differently,” says Ms. Toale. “That is why we strongly recommend that anyone considering filing a vaccine case hire an attorney who is experienced in vaccine cases to represent them, especially since there is no cost to victims at all.”

Recently, Finance Monthly named Anne Toale “Vaccine Injury Lawyer of the Year.”  The Finance Monthly Law Awards recognizes attorneys “who have consistently excelled in all aspects of their work and set new standards of client service.” The magazine is an international publication focused on the corporate sector. The awards are given on a points basis including reader votes, feedback, and published research. The annual awards are international in scope and recognize law firms and attorneys across the globe for innovation in their specific fields.

In her legal career, Ms. Toale has worked in private practice in both plaintiff personal injury and insurance defense firms; as an appellate Assistant Attorney General, a Special Assistant County Attorney, and an enforcement attorney for the Department of Revenue.

Ms. Toale earned her Juris Doctor in 1992 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1989, both from the University of Florida. After graduation from law school in 1992, Ms. Toale was selected for a prestigious position as a judicial law clerk, for Judge Martha Warner of the Fourth District Court of Appeal.

Ms. Toale is admitted to the Florida Bar, the Middle District of Florida, the Southern District of Florida, the United States Court of Federal Claims, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Federal Circuit.

In addition to serving as a past president of the Vaccine Injured Petitioners Bar Association, Ms. Toale was recently invited to become a member of the exclusive National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Trial Lawyers group and attended the 2020 National Trial Lawyers Summit, an annual gathering of the most outstanding civil plaintiff and criminal defense attorneys in America.

In 2020, Ms. Toale was selected for inclusion in the National Trial Lawyers’ Products Liability Trial Lawyers Association – Top 25, an invitation-only professional organization composed of and limited to the Top 25 attorneys from each state or region who serve individuals and families who need attorneys to represent them in the American legal system regarding Products Liability claims. Members of the Products Liability Trial Lawyers Association – Top 25 exemplify superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, and performance in their area of specialty.

Ms. Toale is a member of the Court of Federal Claims Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the Sarasota County Bar Association, the Vaccine Injured Petitioners (VIP) Bar Association, and The National Trial Lawyers’ Products Liability Association. She served two terms as president of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, served as Director of the Sarasota County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. She is a Booker High School Law Academy mentor and a member of the Junior League of Sarasota. Anne is married and has two grown children.
