Overview

This program will feature three large firm well-being officers and one external mental health service provider as they share their personal journeys with mental health and well-being, and their advocacy to improve wellness in the legal profession. The presenters will explain the evolving role of the law firm wellness officer, walk through a number of internal and external mental health and well-being resources that are available to associates at many large law firms at low or no cost, and provide advice about how to utilize these resources effectively and efficiently. As an example, Lyra Health will highlight their data-driven, forward-looking model that aims to provide quick, convenient access to mental health services that are specifically tailored to each individual's needs. This program will benefit any current large firm attorneys, or those looking to learn more about the resources that many large firms have started highlighting to support the well-being of their teams.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explore what resources could be available to support large firm attorneys at their firms, and how to efficiently access these resources

  2. Identify and develop a personal plan for utilizing these resources either proactively or in moments of stress or crisis

  3. Prepare to return to attorneys' own firms and ask if these types of resources are available, and if not, whether the firm would consider implementing them in the near term
