Overview

Over the course of their careers, the panelists have shepherded healthcare clients through the due diligence process involved in strategic corporate transactions and have some great (horror) stories and hard lessons learned to share with the audience! One panelist will share her perspective as a transactional health lawyer on how to advise clients on the business risks that arise from due diligence through crafting definitive agreement mechanisms to best protect against unwanted liabilities while the other panelist will share his perspective as an operational-regulatory lawyer and former healthcare executive on how to operationalize solutions to remedy issues detected during due diligence or extract certain dilutive assets/operations from the larger enterprise. Together, the panelists will provide the audience with a number of best practice tips on how to help clients keep their eyes wide open for red flags that may derail the goals of a transaction as well as respond accordingly.
