Overview
This program will provide an overview of existing anti-discrimination laws that ban discrimination on the basis of gender identity and expression. The course will review the landmark Supreme Court case Bostock v. Clayton County, the post-Bostock legal landscape, and other cases that are making their way through the courts pertaining to employment, healthcare, schools (restrooms and sports), military service, carceral settings, and identity documents. Finally, this course will discuss the application of relevant legal principles to other issue areas affecting transgender rights.

Anticipate how existing caselaw and anti-discrimination statutes will apply in various contexts
