Overview

This program will provide an overview of existing anti-discrimination laws that ban discrimination on the basis of gender identity and expression. The course will review the landmark Supreme Court case Bostock v. Clayton County, the post-Bostock legal landscape, and other cases that are making their way through the courts pertaining to employment, healthcare, schools (restrooms and sports), military service, carceral settings, and identity documents.
