Overview
The Dobbs decision upended the legal landscape for reproductive health providers all over the United States. Even in states where abortion services remain legal, providers have seen new challenges and pressures. In this program, presented by Adam Laughton, we will examine one particular area of those challenges and pressures. In the months following the Dobbs decision, observers noted that women's health information as it related to their reproductive decisions could be a fraught battleground in the future, in particular in states that banned abortion procedures. Both the federal government and California have proposed new rules to deal with these special challenges. We will discuss those rules and how providers can protect themselves from challenges to privacy in the post-Dobbs era.
