Overview
The meteoric growth of many technological industries, such as artificial intelligence (AI), medicine, and other computer science or electronics fields, has resulted in a renewed interest in protecting and leveraging inventions via patents. In the patent law space, new guidelines have recently been promulgated and case law is constantly evolving, such as involving patent eligibility and abstractness standards. In this program, Xin Xie and PJ Shang will explore the basics of patent law as well as current practice tips to adapt to the changing landscape.
