Overview

This course, presented by Kevin McKernan, will discuss the workings of Municipal Courts of the State of New Jersey, as well as attorney-client interaction. Emphasis will be placed on the preparation, discovery, and use of motions in advance of the case, as well as negotiation, trial techniques, and sentencing issues. This program will benefit New Jersey municipal court practitioners, particularly newly admitted attorneys, those beginning to practice in Municipal Court, and those looking for an up-to-date refresher on the basics of municipal court practice.
