Medical Devices and Product Liability Claims

This course, presented by Tariq Naeem, the co-chair of the Tucker Ellis Health & Life Sciences Group, will explore medical devices and product liability claims. The program will provide background for how medical devices are regulated by FDA. In addition, the course will explain key defenses to medical device product liability claims that are available to manufacturers based on the statutory and regulatory framework applicable to medical devices. Lastly, Mr. Naeem will describe how general product liability law is applied to cases involving medical devices.
