An Overview of Reimbursement and Coverage Basics for Medical Devices

Reimbursement and coverage for medical devices under Medicare and by other payors in the United States can be complicated and varied and is highly dependent on the type of device (capital equipment, durable medical equipment, single-use device, etc.) being brought to market.   This course, presented by Stephanie Trunk, Partner at ArentFox Schiff LLP, provides an overview of coverage and reimbursement for medical devices and contemplates the future of devices and their coverage and reimbursement in the United States.
