Missouri CLE Requirements for Attorneys
Whether you're an experienced Missouri attorney or a Missouri newly admitted attorney, here's what you need to know about the Missouri CLE rules and requirements.

Missouri CLE Requirements At A Glance
Total Credits: 15 credit hours per year
- At least 3 in Ethics
- At least 1 of the above must be in Elimination of Bias
- At least 1 of the above must be in Elimination of Bias
CLE Deadline: June 30th
Carry Over Credits: Attorneys can carry over excess live credits earned, including Ethics, into the next reporting year.
Reporting: Deadline is July 31st. MO attorneys must report their credits on the Annual Report of Compliance.
*Note* You will not receive a reporting number for On-Demand courses. The Missouri Bar considers on-demand courses as self study and does not require a reporting number to self-report to MO. See below under Section 3 for further details on MO reporting instructions.
