California CLE Requirements for Attorneys

California MCLE Requirements At a Glance

Total Credits:   25 credit hours every three years:

MCLE Deadline: March 29th

Carry Over Credit:  Attorneys cannot carry over credits into the next reporting period. 

Reporting: Deadline is March 30th. Lawline reports credits for California.

Temporary change: The reporting deadline for compliance Group 1 (last name ending in 'A-G'), will be April 1, 2025 for the upcoming 2025 CLE deadline.

All courses on Lawline qualify for Participatory Credit.
