Bill Nolan is an employer’s lawyer in Barnes & Thornburg’s Columbus office, which he opened in 2009 and managed and built until 2024.  He is past chair of the Columbus Bar Association’s Managing Partners’ Diversity Initiative; co-inventor of the Gender Equity in the Legal Industry (GELI) program series in the Ohio legal community; a recipient of the Ohio Women’s Bar Association Sponsor Award and the Smart Women Awards Advocate for Advancement Award, both given to male allies of women in the workplace; and a member of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce Board’s DEIA Committee.  He writes and speaks on DEI issues regularly, and is always looking for new partnerships focused on helping all kinds of people succeed.
