Through his consulting company, Hoplite Communications, Peter Lupo represents over 35 municipalities and 2 counties in New Jersey and New York, as both their telecommunications consultant and legal counsel. Mr. Lupo guides client jurisdictions through the complexities of telecommunications ordinances, right-of-way access agreements, drafting compliant land use applications processes, bidding out public land for use by carriers, and the evolving federal regulatory framework.

Mr. Lupo began his career representing wireless carriers in multiple areas of practice, including lease negotiations and state filings. He continued in that capacity for over 15 years. After a deployment to Afghanistan, he returned home in 2019 and began to represent government clients and property owners, bringing to bear the extensive experience he gathered while representing carriers.

Mr. Lupo owned and managed a wireless construction company for 5 years, building and upgrading towers, rooftops, and small cell sites across the northeast. He also served on the East Hanover planning board.

Mr. Lupo obtained his undergraduate degree in 1993 and his law degree in 2000.
