Jeanne M. Huey is a trial lawyer and mediator with 24 years of experience in all aspects of business and family law litigation, including discovery, pre-trial, trial, and appellate work, as well as mediation and arbitration. She currently practices in the areas of business litigation, ADA, and FHA litigation, and she defends lawyers in disciplinary matters and malpractice suits. She consults with lawyers and law firms on law practice management and legal ethics issues and regularly speaks and writes on these topics as well.

Her Civil Litigation experience includes a total of 17 years as a Civil Litigator, 7 of those years at a large regional Firm and the past 10 years at Hunt Huey PLLC including:

• prosecuting claims for attorneys fees due under contingent fee contracts in Arbitration
• defense of lawyers throughout Texas in response to grievances before the State Bar
• defense and prosecution of Malpractice claims against Texas lawyers
• defense and prosecution of claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Fair Housing Act in State and Federal Court across the country
• defense of motions to disqualify and for sanctions against Texas lawyers.
• ethics consulting with and obtaining advertising approval for firms and individual lawyers practicing in Texas.
• defense of claims for employment discrimination, breach of contract, and fraud against a major independent oil company
• defense of securities fraud claims and NYSE customer complaints against a national brokerage firm in State and Federal Court and before NASD and NYSE arbitration panels
