Eric has been in the private practice of law since 1998. He is the founding member of Gang & Associates, LLC, Veterans Disability Lawyers, a law firm that represents veterans worldwide in their appeals for VA disability benefits. He maintains offices in New Jersey, Washington, DC and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Eric is licensed to practice law in all New Jersey state courts; the Federal District Court, District of New Jersey; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. In addition, Eric is an accredited representative with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Eric’s past and current affiliations include membership in the National Organization of Veterans Advocates, the CAVC Bar Association, the Veterans and Military sections of the Federal Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Eric has also served as a member of the American Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers Association.
Eric is a frequent speaker and lecturer in the area of veterans’ disability law. He is a faculty member at LawLine.com, where he teaches continuing legal education courses in the area of veterans’ disability law. In addition, Eric is also a lecturer for the National Business Institute (NBI), a national provider of continuing education services, where he teaches about veterans’ issues. He has lectured for the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and is a contributor on veterans’ issues for WRNJ radio.
He has co-authored two books published by NBI on veterans’ benefits and funding long-term care. His published work has also appeared in The Federal Lawyer magazine, and his work for veterans has been mentioned in media outlets across the country.
Eric is the founder and executive director of the Disabled Veterans Resource Center, Inc., a nonprofit veterans’ advocacy group.
