Lawline.com Named on Forbes Best of the Web

The online extension of Lawline, the longest running legal TV show in New York City, the site contends to be the 'leading broadcaster of law related materials on the Internet.' The site brings to the Web the informative, albeit slightly sensationalistic content (i.e. "Fulton Fish Market: Was it Mob Controlled?") that has kept the public television program on air for more than 20 years.

Law professionals can take Continuing Legal Education (CLE) online courses for credit on a variety of issues such as cross examination of an expert witness. While the site has a professional bent, it still has a decent consumer section, which targets subjects such as racism, insurance and malpractice. Don't bother coming here if you only have dial up access, though, as almost all of the site's information is provided via audio or video, which necessitates a high-speed connection.

BEST: Live and archived broadcasts, including featured lectures by CLE faculty.

WORST: Limited public and consumer resources.

"This is the way to do CLE. I plan to do 6 remaining CLEs in the next few days. Thank you Lawline.com. I have told several friends about your site already."
